There are countless numbers of people we pass by throughout our lives, and if we had an opportunity to have gotten to know them we would have found out that they have so many similar interests to us. Groupd prominently displays the hobbies and interests of your peers around you. Select all the people you are interested in meeting. If those people have selected you and others you were interested in meeting as well, then it will put everyone into a group chat. Everyone can look through the compilation of interests and decide whether to meet up to discuss a new novel that apparently all of you have been reading or to play ultimate frisbee together at the park.

When my younger sister first went to college she wasnt out of her shell yet and was pretty shy. She went to a student organization event and was wearing an Akatsuki shirt (a design pattern from an anime). There was a girl at the event that saw the shirt and introduced herself. From that random connection my sister made a best friend for life. The vision is to replicate connections like that.
